Got a craving for something chocolaty? I know I did the other night when I made these chocolate covered graham crackers. These are super easy and a great way to get the kid(s) involved with the decorating. Warning: They are
really addicting.

 |
| My work space. It's better to have everything you need right there with you. |
Ingredients & Items needed:
Package of graham crackers
Melting chocolate
-I used Baker's chocolate that I bought at the store.
-One box of 8 squares made 12.
Double boiler or you can improvise like I did here.
-Sauce pan with half water & a metal bowl.
-Caution: The bowl gets HOT.
Tongs
Cookie sheet lined with wax paper
Spoon
Sprinkles (if desired)
 |
| Melt chocolate while stirring frequently so as to not burn the chocolate. Once chocolate is melted I like to take the bowl off of the saucepan & water until it starts to harden up. It makes the bowl stabler and easier to work with. |
 |
| Fully cover graham crackers & let access drip off. Place onto wax paper lined cookie sheet & let the kid(s) have their fun decorating. |
 |
| This was the best part. Letting my son do the decorating. We picked out random sprinkles including crushed nuts & he had a great time. I just love this picture. |
 |
| And here are his finished masterpieces. Can you tell that he loves sprinkles? :) Kid after my own heart. Once done place into the fridge so the chocolate hardens. |
 |
| Here's my bubba enjoying one. His verdict: 2 chocolaty thumbs up. |
These did not last long in our house with how addicting they are. Just writing this post makes me want to make a new batch of them. These would be perfect for any occasion or just to satisfy a sweet tooth. Instead of sprinkles you can harden them after dipping them & than use colored chocolates to decorate them with pictures or words. Perfect for Valentine's Day sweet treats if you are like me & hate the taste of conversation hearts.
Do you ♥ chocolate as much as we do?
I am a sucker for those chocolate graham crackers they sell at Starbucks. I definitely need to try your method.

I always stock up on that Baker's chocolate after Christmas when it's on sale, so now I need to make some of these because I know my kids will love them. Thanks!
