The film is directed by Ken Scott and is the remake of his 2011 French-Canadian film Starbuck. I've never seen the original since I can no longer speak French and have never been able to speak Spanish which are the two languages that the original movie is in so it is nice to have a remake of it in English. And yeah I could do the whole subtitle thing but my attention span and vision (why are subtitles so small?) just don't like them. I of course don't want to give anything away that you haven't already seen in the previews but I will definitely say that I did enjoy this movie.

David Wozniak with 100+ of his children.
I found it to be really funny which is good since Vince Vaughn mostly does comedy. The plot is completely different than a majority of movies out there. I mean how many movies have a person being the parent of over 500 kids? Not many I don't think. So it was definitely nice to watch something new and not like other movies. There were some heartwarming moments that hit the mommy in me and I got teary eyed but otherwise I was laughing throughout the entire movie. That is another plus of the movie. There weren't that many lulls in it where I was waiting for something funny or heartwarming to come on the screen.

One of my favorite scenes. David Wozniak with his best bud and lawyer.
The movie isn't too bad for kids because there is NO nudity, there is at least some minor violence in one scene that contains Mob henchman and minimal swearing if any. The movie is rated PG-13 and runs for 105 minutes. I would definitely suggest the movie as a date night movie if you have kids unless they get humor. My son doesn't so he was bored the whole time.

My rating for it is:
