Birthday Trip to Disneyland

July 18 was a happily amazing day because it was my birthday and I spent the entire day back home in California at my favorite place on earth, Disneyland. I am absolutely obsessed with Disney and have been ever since I was a little girl living in southern Cali. I hadn't been back to Disneyland since 2002, it was my sons first time going and my mom who went with hadn't been since before we moved to Las Vegas 21 years ago. So needless to say it was a special day 10x over.

On the way out there on the 17th we got stuck in the huge fire that was in the Cajon Pass that our less than five our drive took us around nine instead. It was definitely a freak out moment worrying that we might have to come back and miss my birthday fun until we found an alternate route that took us through LA. But my birthday totally made up for it with the mass amounts of fun that we had even though it poured rain the whole day after we had been there for about 3 hours. That was so much fun even though they shut down some rides and stuff but at night with all of the lights it was beautiful. The fact that we didn't get to see Fantasmic, the parade or the fireworks was a serious bummer though since we were all looking forward to it. Of course I took a bunch of pictures and video clips so here are some of my favorite pictures as well as the video that I put together from the day. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

And for your viewing pleasure, here is my video compilation of the clips that I recorded from the day. I can't wait to go back and enjoy everything all over again. Every time I go it's as if I am turned into a giddy little kid again with not a care in the world.
